Artwork donated by André Perreault in support of UNICEF Canada. Born in Montreal, he completed his first years of schooling in Venezuela and Trinidad. Accomplished singer-songwriter, he put his guitar aside to devote his time to his paintings. For most of his life André has been fascinated by watercolors for its freshness, fancies and unpredictable ways. He has crossed the country numerous times, camping, fishing, sketching and painting its picturesque corners. In 1994, in need of new horizons he moved from Vancouver Island to the quaint area of Charlevoix, Quebec, where he now works. His images have been selected and published abroad and across Canada.
